Repeat Prescriptions

You can order repeat prescriptions at reception or by post (please enclose SAE). For your convenience we have a post box situated in the waiting area. If you do not have the back of your prescription we have some forms on our front desk. Just fill it in with what you need it will be ready the following day after 15:00pm.

If you find it hard to get into the surgery to order your prescription you can order via a local pharmacy of your choice. The prescription will be collected from our surgery allowing you to collect direct from them.

You can also order online via the link at the top of this page. Please note if any prescriptions are ordered online please leave 48 hours before collecting. New users are required to complete a simple registration prior to using this service, which are available from the surgery reception.

Some pharmacies provide a home delivery service for people who find it hard to come out and collect their prescriptions. We also offer repeat dispensing for patients on certain long term medication; this allows a prescription to be issued for 6-12 months. Please ask a receptionist for further details.

We now have a prescription query line which is available from 1:15pm-3:15pm for Patient's and Chemists to ring regarding any queries with medication. This line is not to be used to order medication.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
